Level Surveys & Level Datums
Level surveys of all types are considered with common examples consisting the following:
Check level survey on newly built structures – as built level surveys can be used to check against design tolerances and form part of quality control procedures.
Slab surveys – as built slab surveys. External yard slabs, roads and structures.
Ridge heights Datum level transfers – floor level datums can be positioned throughout a building in all rooms to ensure all contractors fitting out internally are working off the same level.
Any newly built construction that needs to be quality checked – constructed within tolerances as set by British Standards or job specification if different to this.
Level surveys can be checked on any sized dimensional grid as requested by the client. A level survey of an existing plot will provide the client with accurate information to complete a cut and fill exercise and also provide a basis for designing the finished levels of a new site, thus minimising the amount of material to go off site.
